A disease of unknown origin when clear bald spots appear, usually on the head and other hairy parts of the body. This condition usually resolves without treatment; Recurrence is frequent. Alopecia areata is an immune system disorder in which hair follicles stop forming new hair. About 2% of us will have alopecia areata at some point in our lives.

Aloe vera gel, a substance from the inner leaves, has long been used for its healing properties and mainly contains polysaccharides, consisting of mannose acetate, glucose, galactose and arabinose. Numerous studies have documented the effectiveness of fresh gel on healing of skin or excessive X-rays or thermal burns. Fresh aloe vera gel applied to the skin has been shown to be effective for alopecia and alopecia areata. Several clinical studies in humans have documented the effectiveness of aloe vera gel in treating psoriasis, burns, and skin abrasions. .
Although medical wisdom says that there is no cure for alopecia, there are medical studies that claim to have found significant improvements in alopecia. Alopecia is not a living medicine, but it can be annoying. Remember that alopecia is not a cause of hair loss.
