Celebrities like Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow love cleansing diets. The Maple Syrup and Cayenne Pepper Diet, The Hollywood Cleansing and Detox Diet, The Lemonade Diet, The Colon Cleanse Diet, The Fat Flush Plan, Apple Cider Vinegar and many more are used by stars and society to lose weight fast and easy. Unfortunately, fast and easy is usually temporary rather than permanent.
The purpose of a cleanse is to:
Clean out your digestive tract
Reduce bloating and puffiness
Decrease belly fat
The problem with the majority of cleanses is the majority of people are left feeling tired, weak and moody due to a lack of nutrients. In addition, the weight tends to return quickly at an increase of 5 to 10 pounds.
During my twenties and a few times in my thirties, I challenged myself to lose that pesky belly fat by completing a quick fat flush or cleanse.
